The SASTA Laboratory Manual is a manual for South African sugar factories. It contains definitions of the most commonly used terms in the South African sugar manufacturing industry and details of official laboratory methods used for cane payment as approved by the Council of the South African Sugar Association.
The latest version incorporates methods used in back-end or stand-alone refineries.
